Privacy Policy
Effective June 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Videxx desktop application handles information when a user creates short-form videos and connects supported publishing accounts.
Information processed
- Content entered or generated in the application, including ideas, scripts, captions, descriptions, and hashtags.
- Media files generated or selected by the user, including images, audio, and video.
- Authorization tokens and basic account information returned by platforms the user explicitly connects.
- Technical information required to operate and diagnose the application, such as local application logs.
How information is used
Information is used to generate requested content, render videos, display connected account information, and publish content only when the user explicitly initiates and confirms a publishing action.
Local storage
Videxx is primarily a local desktop application. Project data, generated files, configuration, and authorization tokens are stored on the user's computer unless a connected third-party service must receive information to perform a requested operation.
Third-party services
Depending on the user's configuration and actions, Videxx may communicate with services such as OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Pexels, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or infrastructure providers. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and the permissions approved by the user.
Publishing and account access
Videxx does not publish content automatically without user action. Connected accounts are accessed only through permissions granted by the user. A user may revoke platform access from the relevant platform's account settings.
Data retention and deletion
Users control locally stored projects and generated media and may delete them from their computer. Users may disconnect accounts or revoke authorization through the connected platform. Third-party platforms may retain published content according to their own policies.
Security
Reasonable safeguards are used to limit access to local credentials and project data. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
Videxx is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated as the application changes. The effective date above identifies the latest revision.
Contact
Privacy and deletion requests may be submitted to the developer through the support contact associated with the Videxx application listing or the platform through which the application was provided.
